Where these numbers come from (verified August 2026)

From eBay UK's official rate card: the per-order final value fee is £0.30 on orders up to £10 and £0.40 above £10 (changed 12 Feb 2026) — this calculator applies it automatically. Category FVF rates range roughly 6.9%–12.9% and some categories are tiered (e.g. Vehicle Parts: 9.5% up to £750, then 3%) — for tiered categories enter a blended rate. eBay also applies a small regulatory operating fee in some cases; check your seller invoice and put the percentage in "Other" if it applies to you. All eBay fees are quoted ex-VAT.
